Our Story

Loving Our Community’s Children (LOCC) began as a collaboration between the Leadership Ascension program and the Ascension Parish Chamber of Commerce. This local non-profit was established to create a 'foster closet' in Ascension Parish, providing essential support to children who have faced traumatic events, including those in foster care and those impacted by disasters.

Impact

Since opening in August 2020, LOCC has positively impacted the lives of over 1500 children by providing clothes, hygiene products, diapers, cribs, toys, and more.
