Our Story

Kathmandu Animal Treatment Centre, established in 2004 by Jan Salter, is dedicated to raising awareness about the inhumane treatment of street dogs in Nepal. The center focuses on humane Animal Birth Control (ABC) to manage the street dog population while providing medical treatment, education, and adoption services.

Our Impact

Each week, KAT Centre Nepal rescues 3-4 sick dogs, offering them medical care and a chance for a better life.
