The Huntington Area Recreational Trails Association (HARTA) was founded in April 2014 to promote the development of a network of local and regional multi-use trails and green-ways throughout the City of Huntington and the broader Huntington area. HARTA is dedicated to raising awareness of the Huntington County trail system and helping people become more healthy.
HARTA has successfully completed sections of trails including the Forks of the Wabash Trail and the Little River Trail, securing funding for further developments that enhance recreational opportunities in the Huntington area.
