The Guatemala Housing Alliance was founded in 2011 to address severe housing deficiencies in the Guatemalan highlands. By collaborating with the most poorly housed communities, GHA aims to secure safer homes while building partnerships with other nonprofits focused on education, health, employment, and family planning.
Since the onset of Covid-19, GHA has delivered 1,340 food parcels, provided workshops for women, and organized a beading cooperative. Additionally, GHA has sponsored the education of numerous children from elementary to university level, making a significant difference in their lives.
When you donate to GHA, 100% of your contribution goes directly to the project of your choice. All administrative costs are covered by the founders, ensuring that your donation has a maximum impact. Donations are tax-deductible, and you can choose to support either the Housing Program or Scholarships for Guatemalan children.
