Founded in 1999 by Ted Oakley, Foster Angels of South Texas emerged from a desire to support children in foster care. Partnering with Child Protective Services in Corpus Christi, Ted began providing essential items to children in need. In 2010, his daughter, Sarah Smith, recognized similar needs in Austin, leading to the establishment of Foster Angels of Central Texas.
Since its inception, Foster Angels has positively impacted over 49,000 children, ensuring their basic needs are met and offering enriching opportunities.
