Our Story

Founded in 1883 as The Reformed Orphan’s Home of Fort Wayne, IN, Crossroad Child & Family Services has evolved to meet the changing needs of the community. Transitioning from an orphanage to a provider of support for unwed mothers, the organization now focuses on treatment for emotionally troubled children. Renamed in 1975 and officially becoming Crossroad Child & Family Services, Inc. in 2010, it offers a full spectrum of residential, outpatient, home-based, and community services.
