Our Story
The Cedar Valley Humane Society, established in 1901, has a rich history of promoting animal welfare and community support. Over the years, it has evolved to meet the needs of both animals and people, focusing on education, adoption services, and building healthy relationships.
Our Impact
In 2023, CVHS made a significant difference by helping 3,696 dogs and 3,778 cats, providing 7,998 volunteer hours, and reuniting 179 stray pets with their families. The organization also transferred 116 pets from overcrowded shelters, showcasing its commitment to animal welfare.
