About Apoyo Escolar

Apoyo Escolar is dedicated to creating and supporting educational and economic opportunities for youth and families in San Miguel De Allende. Since 2015, this grassroots organization has focused on enhancing educational resources by providing essential equipment and services to local schools. With the leadership of Bill and Jane Wilkinson, and the support of dedicated volunteers, Apoyo Escolar strives to optimize opportunities for all students.

Impact

Through various initiatives, Apoyo Escolar has successfully developed libraries, constructed computer labs, and improved water supplies, significantly enhancing educational opportunities for students in rural areas.

Why Donate?

Your contributions directly support scholarships, computer access, and facility improvements. A scholarship (beca) costs about $400 per year, while a Chromebook is around $250. Every donation, whether private or corporate, makes a difference.
