Animal Food Bank
EIN: 80-0311057 · Bethlehem, PA
Our Story
The Animal Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley was established in 2005 as a compassionate outreach of Trinity Episcopal Church in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It all began when dedicated Soup Kitchen volunteers observed that some guests were taking food home for their pets. Inspired by this need, a fourteen-year-old Girl Scout, Vanessa (Segaline) Miller, initiated a monthly pet food distribution. Recognizing the growing demand, the organization obtained 501(c)(3) status in December 2009 and expanded its services throughout the Lehigh Valley.
Our Impact
The Animal Food Bank is committed to keeping companion animals in loving homes and preventing their surrender to shelters by providing essential pet food to families facing economic hardships.
